Floristical samplings on the periglacier area of the Nueva Zelandia glacier, located in the fiord Parry, Cordillera Darwin, Tierra del Fuego, Chile, were carried out. Vascular plants were collected at the different geoforms of the glacier valley, to compare them floristically and to describe the vegetal colonization of the area. In accordance with Sorensen's index of similarity, two geoforms groups were separated floristically with 15% of similarity among them: the group A, formed by the stabilized geoforms and free of ice, Beach, Rocky Hill, Alluvial Plain, and Moraine 3; and the group B, Moraines 1 and 2 and the Front Moraine that correspond to geoforms of more recent formation. Both groups internally have ranges of floristical similarity between a 25 and 35%. The low similarity among all the geoforms reveal the differential dynamics of the vegetal colonization. The lowest species richness was found in the morainic geoforms, lateral moraines 1, 2, 3 and in the frontal moraine, which is explained by its recent formation and stabilization with an incipient vegetal colonization. The hemicriptophytes and anemochora presented the higher number of species in all the geoforms.
