Se describe e interpreta un contexto fúnebre de filiación tehuelche meridional descubierto en la localidad de San Gregorio, costera del estrecho de Magallanes, a unos 125 km al noreste de Punta Arenas. Se
comparan las evidencias del hallazgo con otros contextos funerarios similares conocidos para la región, aportando a la discusión algunos antecedentes etnohistóricos de interés.
A funereal context of meridional Tehuelche afiliation discovered at the locality of San Gregorio, coast of the Strait of Magellan, some 125 km north-east from Punta Arenas, is described. The evidences of the finding are compared with other similar funereal contexts known for the region, apporting some ethno-historic antecedents of interest to the discussion.
