Se entrega información en parte inédita y en parte poco conocida acerca de los abusos cometidos en contra de los cazadores de la Tierra del Fuego durante el asentamiento colonizador ganadero a fines del siglo XIX, con lo que se afirma el concepto de genocidio para explicar la extinción pronta y masiva de la etnia Selknam.
Information, in part inedit and in part scarcely know, on the abuses carried on against the Tierra del Fuego hunters during the livestock colonist settlement at late XIX century, is given. With this the concept of genocide to explain the rapid and massive extinction of the selknam ethnia is affirmed.
