Se presentan los resultados del salvataje arqueológico de un sitio funerario ubicado en la porción sur-occidental del archipiélago fueguino. Se describe el tipo de inhumación registrado y se discuten sus relaciones con las modalidades de entierro conocidas entre los grupos de canoeros meridionales.
The results of an archaeological salvataje of a funeral site localized in the south occidental part of the fueguian archipelagoes are presented. The type of burial registered is described and we discuss the relations of this type of burial with others known for the southern maritime groups.
