Se presenta la secuencia estratigráfica en el sitio Alero del Diablo, estancia Puerto Consuelo, Seno de Ultima Esperanza, Chile. Se diferenciaron dos componentes, el más antiguo caracterizado por la alta frecuencia de instrumentos sobre núcleo y el más reciente por instrumental más diversificado sobre lasca. Los ocupantes del sitio eran cazadores de guanacos y recolectores de moluscos marinos.
The present paper deals with a stratigraphic sequence from Alero del Diablo, estancia Puerto Consuelo, Seno de Ultima Esperanza, Chile. Two components were differentiated, the earlier one characterised by a high frequence of core tools and the later by a variety of flake tools. The occupants of the shelter were guanaco hunters and mussel gatherers.
